And proud of it! Years ago, a visitor from Germany asked aloud why Manny was walking strangely. After friends informed her that Manny had MS, she replied, "I know he's a mess, but why is he walking that way?!"

 

Manny, being Manny, found the entire exchange hilarious, and took ownership of his "Mess" label. The idea of owning our perceived flaws, our messes, is at the core of Manny's Fannies. Messes don't make us lesser - they make us unique! Together, we all make up one big, messy family. We wouldn't have it any other way.
